DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Disc Golf for Good – Sponsored by MVP Discs event at Hinson Lake Disc Golf Course! \n\n\n\nThe Disc Golf for Good Rated 1-Round XC-Tier Event event is an annual event put on by the Richmond County Disc Golf Group to fundraise for the Richmond County Chapter of the Autism Society of North Carolina. With the help of the PDGA Competition Endowment Program we will be able to donate $11.50 per player that participates\, and all $15 non-member fees will be waived for non-PDGA members for this event. We hope to see an amazing turnout for this event. \n\n\n\nDETAILS: \n\n\n\nLayout:– Disc Golf for Good Layout (layout in images) \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n8:00am – 1:00pm\n\n\n\nFlex Start Tee Times every 15-minutes. Please try to arrive at least 15-minutes prior to your tee time to get checked-in and to Hole 1. \n\n\n\nPro: Payout will be 100% of funds leftover after fees and contributions to the Richmond County Chapter of the Autism Society of North Carolina. \n\n\n\nAM: MVP Disc from selection\, and more to come. \n\n\n\nAce Pool: A $5 Ace Pot will be available via registration. If no ace is hit then the ace pot will be added to the total contribution to the Richmond County Chapter of the Autism Society of North Carolina. If a player hits an ace then the ace will be paid out via PayPal at the conclusion of the event. \n\n\n\nRaffles: $5 raffles will be in place for the event. These can be signed-up for via registration. Winners of any raffle will be notified prior to the start of the event and will receive their prizes at that time. \n\n\n\nMore details to come in the near future! \n\n\n\nRefund policy\n\n\n\nRichmond County Disc Golf Group is responsible for all refunds and cancellations. DESCRIPTION:For those who participated last year and weren’t abused enough and those who feel that you are up for a challenge.  Coming back to you on December 5\, 2026\, is an event so zany\, so proven to be unpredictable\, you’ll need to reconsider your first and second instincts on the tee pad.  Ladies and gentlemen\, brace yourselves for the 3rd Manic Mando Disc Golf Tournament at Hinson Lake\, hosted by none other than the jesters of the fairway\, the Richmond County Disc Golf Group.Just like previous years\, for a trifling $5 player fee and a toy – that’s right\, just five bucks\, or 500 pennies\, or even 20 quarters if you’re feeling particularly flush – you can be part of disc golf history. And by “history\,” we mean the most delightfully bonkers round of disc golf you’ll ever participate in or spectate. Divisions are set up by ratings\, ensuring that whether you’re a seasoned pro or your disc flights are more unpredictable than a cat in a room full of laser pointers\, there’s a place for you. What about the toy?  Your $5 fee allows you to come to the registration tent.  Tis’ the season plastic chunking friends!  We have partnered with Midder’s Toy Box to collect Christmas toys for many deserving children in the area. Please prepare to donate a toy (or toys) to assist with this fine charity.  If $5 isn’t enough\, you are welcomed to purchase mulligans.   Mulligans are highly recommended to help keep your score near par.Now\, let’s talk course features. Ever played a round where the mandatories include looping your disc around a 12ft Santa? No? Well\, buckle up. Hinson Lake’s natural beauty will be enhanced with obstacles that not only challenge your physical prowess but also tickle your funny bone. Imagine aiming your throw under a subtly placed limbo stick or flip a wooden nickel to select the left or right mando path. Pure\, unadulterated fun. \n\n\n\nParticipants are encouraged to don their wackiest disc golf attire. We hope to have an outrageous amount of photos for the archives.So\, mark your calendars\, prep your discs\, and maybe do some stretching – things are going to get kooky.
